Looking for a web host is a daunting task. From host to host they all offer similiar bandwidth rates, server space, email accounts -usually unlimited. When push comes to shove I decided it’s about the money. And I’m not talking the $1 difference in annual fees, I’m talking internet marketing, affiliate programs and how is the host going to make me money.
Bluehost is cheap, reliable and supports a wide range of features. I have been using them since Nov 07, have several websites and all is good on the user front.
Main Features
Simple Scripts
By far the greatest feature is Simple Scripts. These are basically one click installs to your specified directory of the web system of your choosing. You can also simply uninstall the package and even update the package when new versions are available!
I have used this for several Wordpress installations (2.5.1), chat server and Joomla. No problems so far! The previously supported script like this Fantastico but Bluehost seems to be moving away from that. I cannot overstate how easy Simple Scripts makes setting up multiple websites.
